Pennington Recreation Club is the owner and custodian of Relton Hall. Pennington Recreation Club was formed in 1953. Laurel Pennington donated a piece of land and a thatched roof clubhouse was built in 1961, which unfortunately burnt down in 1977. The Pennington community collected funds and built the current hall which was officially opened in June 1980. Relton Hall is available for use by all the residents of Pennington. The various activities and functions provided by the Pennington Recreation Club generate the funds required for the running and maintenance of the facility.
