New assistant director post for Khanyiso Seyisi

Khanyiso comes back to the South Coast.

Former Ray Nkonyeni Municipality communications officer, Khanyiso Seyisi is back in the South Coast.
Seyisi left the municipality in 2021 to work for Government Communication and Information System (GCIS) in Zululand as Assistant Director: Regional Communication Coordinator.
He is now the assistant director in the Ugu region.

Seyisi’s main role in this position is to coordinate and facilitate Ugu district communication in working with important roleplayers from municipalities, government departments and parastatals.

His scope of working involves engaging stakeholders to facilitate communications through government platforms and protocols.
As a GCIS representative, he will also be working with senior government officials like municipal managers, chief executive officers, editors and other critical stakeholders within the district.

Former RNM communications officer Khanyiso Seyisi has made a welcome return to the Ugu district.

As part of his roles, he will be working with government structures as such district communicators’ forums, Operation Sukuma Sakhe, district development models, non-government organisations, parastatals, media, community development workers and other government structures.

Seyisi has vast experience of 20 years in the communication and media field.
He holds a Bachelor of Social Science Degree in Communications and he is a former journalist.
Most of his career has been spent in the Ugu area, since his arrival in 2007, where he assumed duties at the former Hibiscus Coast Municipality, now known as Ray Nkonyeni Municipality.
