Southbroom crash leaves motorist entrapped and seriously injured [PICS]

The nasty accident occurred near the Southbroom traffic lights this morning.

A collision between a vehicle and truck left a motorist entrapped, with serious injuries, on the R61 near Southbroom at about 05:00.

Chantell Botha of Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service said that when emergency services arrived they quickly assessed the scene and found the driver of the vehicle had serious injuries and was stuck in the vehicle.

The injured person was treated on scene before being transported to hospital.
