Good support for Rotary’s coins for charity drive

Businesses sponsored token packages ahead of Coins for Charity Drive.

The Rotary Club of Port Shepstone had a marvellous start to 2023, thanks to the local businesses, shoppers and volunteers who assisted and donated generously to its annual Coins for Charity Drive, in aid of Port Shepstone Child Welfare recently.

The aim of the drive was to collect money which will go towards helping learners with their back-to-school needs such as uniforms, books, stationery and other needs.

Accepting donations from shoppers to add to the money tape are (from left) Port Shepstone Child Welfare’s Cleressa Naidoo, Rotarian Reggie John and Angie-Lee Stewart.

The club acknowledged the support of local businesses that sponsored token-packages ahead of the collection day.
