Fish or walk in aid of Tidy Towns

All proceeds will go to the wonderful work being done by Tidy Towns Port Shepstone.

Thompson Motors South Coast presents its first annual fishing competition in support of Tidy Towns Port Shepstone and encourages the community and their families, to come out and enjoy the event.

The competition will be held from Sandspit in Port Shepstone to King Prawn on Saturday, December 3 from 05:00 to 13:00.
Entry for adults is R50 per person and R20 for U18s and pensioners. For those not keen on angling, join in a beach walk from King Prawn to ‘The Block’ at 10:00. Entry is R20 per person.

The competition categories include a children’s ‘biggest bag’ up to 12 years, an open category from 13 years and over ‘biggest bag’ and for the ‘biggest edible fish’ across all ages. All fish in the open biggest bag and biggest edible fish will be measured.
For some extra fun, there will be a casting competition nearest to target. Weigh in is at 13:00.

The festivities will be based at ‘The Block’ and food and drinks will be on sale.
Great prizes to be won, so take the family along and get hooked.

All proceeds will go to Tidy Towns Port Shepstone to assist with maintenance and upkeep of the Port Shepstone beachfront, and also to create awareness.
