Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service responded to a collision on the R61 near Glenmore last night (Saturday).
When emergency services arrived they found two vehicles had been involved in a head-on collision.
Paramedics quickly assessed the scene and found that two patients had sustained injuries. However two others died on the scene before the arrival of emergency services.
The injured patients were treated on scene and transported to hospital for further treatment.
The cause of the accident will be investigated by police.
