Close call for driver trapped under truck

It is unclear how the truck tipped over.

A man (53) was lucky to escape with moderate injuries after his leg became trapped under a large truck in Port Edward earlier today.

Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at a farm to find that workers had managed to free the driver’s leg using a Bobcat (earth moving machine).

Paramedics found him to be in a stable condition and took him to hospital for further care.
