Paddock police bust woman with heroin capsules stashed under bed

The arrest was effected during a crime prevention operation.

A woman (33) was arrested by police members of Paddock Saps while conducting a crime prevention operation on the evening of Wednesday, October 12.

Police spokesman Captain Petros Mpinge said police received information which led to the arrest of the woman at Bhomela location.

Heroin capsules were confiscated as well as cash – found concealed under the bed.

The woman will appear in the Port Shepstone Magistrate’s Court shortly on a charge of dealing in drugs.
