Support hospice’s Pink Drive

Pink material can be purchased from hospice shops.

Hospice supporters and friends Neermala Devi Moodley and Maya Rampersadh visited the Khanya Hospice house in Umkomaas this week, to help kick off the Pink Tree Drive.

This campaign is currently being run as October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and it is to let people know that breast cancer is not the end of the road as there are several good stories to be told.

The Pink Tree Drive is also a fundraiser for hospice which relies on donations from people and businesses to make the wheels turn and to provide free palliative nursing care to those who cannot afford it.

Khanya Hospice has been around for 37 years and has helped thousands of patients during this time.

Should you wish to support hospice and the Pink Tree Drive, simply purchase the pink material from a local hospice shop for R100 and drape it around trees, gates, poles, verandahs and more.

Hospice can be contacted on 083 597 8985 or hospice@khanyahospice.co.za
