There's plenty on the go, despite all the challenges presented by loadshedding.

It’s the last newspaper for September, amazing how the month has simply sped by. I am sure we will be seeing Christmas décor soon, my worst.

A really strange occurrence in Scott Street, Scottburgh – there is loadshedding on the one side of the street and not on the other.

The question arises: how come Eskom is underperforming on one side only? Surely there is gross underperformance all around? Are any other areas not being involved in the underperformance?

A monthly market is being started at Pennington Relton Hall, starting this Saturday, at 13:00. It will run on the first Saturday of each month. The aim is to give the local community crafters, artists and farmers an opportunity to earn money while at the same time raising funds for Relton Hall roof.

It is also to increase Pennington Recreation Club membership and raise awareness of what the hall offers.
