Model represents South Coast at provincial beauty pageant

The young architecture student hopes to shine at beauty pageant.

Sibusisiwe Zwane (20) of Shelly Beach is one of 40 finalists in the Miss KwaZulu-Natal Queen beauty pageant.

The former Port Shepstone High learner hopes this pageant will kickstart her modelling career – at a provincial level.

“I will be the only one representing the South Coast,” said the excited contestant.

Although she hasn’t done any modelling before, Sibusisiwe hopes this will make modelling agencies sit up and notice her!

The University of KwaZulu-Natal student who is studying architecture enjoys getting involved in community projects.

During her school career she was actively part of a group that raised funds for South Coast Hospice and CANSA.

“Cancer is very close to my heart as my eldest sister passed away from the disease,” she said.

Sibusisiwe really wants to do the South Coast proud by doing well at the contest.
