WATCH: Gamalakhe residents protest for electricity and water

Police are monitoring the situation.

Gamalakhe residents have blocked the road into the area and have also closed the access roads.

It is believed that some of the areas have not had electricity for a month, and residents have contacted Eskom but they haven’t received any assistance.

Water is another reason for the protest.

Police are at the scene and monitoring the situation.

Law enforcement is in Izotsha diverting traffic and the Qinabout access road to Betania has also been closed by the residents.
