Hospice benefits from Lions’ blanket drive

The blankets will be be distributed to needy families in the community.

Port Shepstone Lions Ladies started a blanket drive during July and managed to purchase and collect several blankets for the project.

The blankets were handed over to South Coast Hospice’s CEO, Di Van Dyk and fundraising coordinator, Beatrice King at the Sheppie Lions clubhouse recently.

Denis Meyer, club secretary and public relations officer said: “These blankets will be distributed by hospice to needy families within our community.”
