An unusual accident scene in Marburg resulted in three occupants of a vehicle covered in red/brown paint.
Shawn Herbst of Netcare 911 said paramedics responded to a collision involving two light motor vehicles on the P200 in Marburg last Saturday.
On scene was the Ugu District Fire and Rescue Services and Med-Evac Emergency Services.

Two people sustained moderate injuries, while a third patient had sustained minor injuries.
Last Friday, July 29, a 35-year-old man sustained moderate injuries after being stabbed in the neck in an attempted robbery at the Margate bus and taxi rank.

Herbst said the man was treated on scene by a Netcare 911 advanced life support paramedic for vascular injuries.
Once stabilised, the patient was transported by ambulance to hospital for further care.

Also on Friday, Robert Mckenzie of KwaZulu-Natal Emergency Medical Services (EMS) said a 31-year-old woman was seriously injured when a TLB lost control and plunged into a stream in the Mtwalume area.
Mckenzie said the woman was treated on scene by paramedics from KZN EMS before being transported to a health facility.
