Close call in rock throwing incident

Motorists are warned to be careful and cautious when driving this stretch of the N2.

A family travelling to Durban was fortunate to escape a rock-throwing incident last Sunday.

Ant Brodowicz of Margate sent out a WhatsApp message warning motorists to be extra careful when travelling along the N2 near Umtentweni.

This was after his daughter and grandchildren had narrowly escaped a nasty experience of individuals throwing rocks at cars from the second bridge going north after Umtentweni.

“The rock didn’t hit the windscreen but hit the roof, causing damage to the car. Take care and be cautious,” he warned.
