Scottburgh Saps received a drug-related tip-off last Friday, which led them to the Scottburgh taxi rank, where they identified a man (19) who was searched and found in possession of heroin capsules, rock cocaine, Stilpane syrup, two knives and cash.
He was arrested and will appear in the Scottburgh Magistrate’s Court on a charge of possession of and dealing in drugs.
The station commander, Colonel Ralph Ruiters, welcomed the arrest and recovery of drugs. He urges the public to contact the police with information regarding criminal activities in his policing area.
