Stabbing victim set alight

Three bodies were found along the South Coast a week ago.

A man was stabbed and set alight in Mkholombe, Boboyi, May 10.

According to the Saps Corporate Communication and Liaison Ugu District office, it is alleged that at about 07:00, a man aged 27 was stabbed and set alight at Mkholombe.

The cause of death will be established via a post-mortem.

A murder case has been opened for investigation at Saps Port Shepstone. Anyone with information should contact 039 688 1003 or Crimestop on 0860 10111.

In another murder investigation, the body of a man, aged about 35, was found down a steep ravine on the N2 near Wilson’s Cutting in Ezinqoleni on May 11. The Saps Search and Rescue Unit retrieved the body.

In a third incident, the body of a man was found in the grass near a petrol station on Nelson Mandela Drive in Marburg on May 12. The cause of death is yet to be established. An inquest has been opened for investigation.

The burnt body of a man was found in Mkholombe, Boboyi.
