Margate cops nail Gcilima man for drugs

Saps Margate has shown their commitment to fighting the drug trade by ongoing arrests

A 36-year-old man from Gcilima was arrested after Saps Drug Task Team observed that drugs were being sold at a homestead.

A search was conducted and mandrax tablets, as well as over 200 heroin capsules were found.

Police spokesperson Sergeant Sibu Ncane said the man was arrested last Sunday and will appear in the Port Shepstone Magistrate’s Court on a charge of dealing in drugs.

“Saps Margate has shown their commitment to fighting the drug trade by ongoing arrests,” said Ncane.
