Margate Saps is appealing to members of the community to assist in locating a man who can help the police in solving a rape which occurred in Margate.
It is alleged that on December 13, 2022, a man – who was a passenger in a white Quantum – came across a woman who was walking along Valley Road in Margate, and jumped off the taxi.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Sibu Ncane said it is believed that the woman was raped and her cellphone was taken.
