A man (24) was recently found in possession of mandrax tablets and heroin capsules at Masinenge Informal Settlement.
This was after Margate Saps drug task team responded to a tip-off of a man was selling drugs on Thursday, March 23.
Sergeant Sibu Ncane said police arrested the man, who appeared in court the following day.
He remains in police custody and is to appear again in court soon on charges of possession of drugs and dealing in drugs.
