Hibberdene police arrested a 37-year-old man who was reported for pointing a firearm at Nkambeni area recently.
Police spokesperson Captain Petros Mpinge said members followed up on information which led to the recovery of .38 special pistol.
The man was arrested and appeared in court for possession of an unlicensed firearm. The matter has been postponed to a later date.
The public is commended and encouraged to continue to report unlicensed firearms and persons using firearms recklessly.
