Three murdered in taxi shooting

The taxi was ambushed in KaMachi near Harding on Tuesday this week.

Gundrift Road in KaMachi, Harding turned into a gun battle that claimed the lives of three people on Tuesday this week.

Police found a stationary white Quantum which had been shot at multiple times.
Police spokesperson Lieutenant-Colonel Nqobile Gwala said Harding police are investigating three counts of murder and two of attempted murder, after an incident where five people were shot by unknown gunmen.

“Three people were fatally shot while two others were taken to hospital for medical attention. It is alleged that the driver and his passengers were in the taxi when unknown people driving by opened fire on them. No arrests have been made,” said Lt-Col Gwala.
At this stage the motive for the killing is unknown and police are investigating.

The taxi riddled with bullet holes.
