Three people allegedly shot dead in Park Rynie

At this stage, the reason for the shooting in the business area is unclear.

It is believed three people were shot dead in Alkins Drive on the R612 in Park Rynie yesterday evening (Wednesday).

However, it is unclear what actually transpired and the Herald is waiting for an official police statement.

Security companies Gladiator and Mazizi were on the scene together with Saps, and the road was temporarily closed.

Traffic came to a standstill while police cordoned off a section of the road and dealt with the crime scene.
