Woman charged in parking lot altercation

The incident occurred in Tweni.

The case involving Sea Park resident, Nikita Kleynhans who was involved in an altercation in a parking lot in Tweni, will be taken to the senior public prosecutor for a decision.

Police spokesperson Captain Petros Mpinge confirmed that no further suspects have been charged, however counter charges of malicious injury to property and assault have been opened against Kleynhans.

Last week, Mpinge said a case of assault grievous bodily harm had been opened for investigation at Port Shepstone Saps after a woman (Kleynhans) was allegedly assaulted in Umtentweni on Saturday, September 10.
