Woman’s body found in Bomela

The body has been identified.

The body of a woman was found in a river in Bomela location, just over a week ago.

She has been identified as Priscilla Mbili from Gamalakhe.

Police spokesperson, Sergeant Sibu Ncane said two woman went to the river for their morning prayer, and they found the body of an unknown female.

“She was floating in the river. It is suspected that the deceased is about 25 years old.”

The body was taken to Port Shepstone government mortuary for a post-mortem examination.

Her family filed a missing person’s report at Gamalakhe police station, and they were told a body of a female had been found in the river.

The family identified her.
