Nifty panel van proves popular

The Suzuki EECO panel van, available at Suzuki South Coast in Port Shepstone, is gaining in popularity.

Gary Wigmore, who runs a pump services company, enjoys the versatility of the van.

He says one of the best things about it is that it’s economical. “It’s a nifty vehicle to run around in and really easy to park.”

Further to this, he likes the fact that there are three back doors, lockable, plus easy loading access.

“It’s great in terms of loading your work materials, or your dogs, surf gear, whatever it might be,” he said.

Gary said he enjoyed that it came with airbags and ABS brakes, which he prefers in such a vehicle when it comes to safety.

“There are some other great features, but all in all, those are the ones I like about the panel van the most,” he said.

It offers a high return on investment without compromising quality, making it a budget-conscious choice for anyone’s business.

Morné Beattie, the owner of a local plumbing company, echoed some of Gary’s thoughts.

“It’s convenient, light on fuel and great little runaround, especially on the South Coast,” he said.

They’ve even given the mini ‘bus’ a nickname – ibhala – which means wheelbarrow in isiZulu.

“It’s an amazing little van, goes in everywhere, is compact, and you can park just about wherever you want.”

Morné and his maintenance team also enjoy the two sliding doors, giving them the option to choose which one they need or want in any given scenario.

“It’s also just big enough to fit a geyser in, so it works well for both small and big jobs,” he said.
