The Pont Holiday and Water Park Resort in Port Edward is the ideal venue for family fun and relaxation for holidaymakers, campers, caravanners, water sports enthusiasts and day visitors.
Set in tranquil surroundings on the Umtamvuna River, the resort offers camping and caravan sites as well as on-site self-catering units with five well-maintained ablution blocks in a safe environment with 24-hour security manning the gate and patrolling the park.
Facilities include picnic area, six communal braai lapas, kids’ play park, swimming pool, registered launch and retrieval sites, tuck-shop and a recently revamped fully licensed on-site restaurant and bar overlooking the river with on-site parking for the restaurant patrons.
Enjoy a day out with various activities on offer such as picnic spots, barge rides, speed boat rides, tubing, wakeboarding, skiing, canoe rentals or bring your own boat and enjoy the river.
We also offer drop-off and collection to and from the beach at a small fee.
If you are a sports fan, you can come and watch sports on one of our five big screen TVs at Paddlers Restaurant & Bar and enjoy various food and drink specials on offer.
Every Wednesday night is Braai Night at The Pont. Pap, gravy and salad are supplied by the restaurant, so bring your own meat or purchase a braai pack from the restaurant and enjoy a great mid-week social evening.
Entrance is free. But we ask that you support our fully stocked bar.
Entrance fee for day visitors. Adults R50 each, children U14 and pensioners R30 each.
Entry fee to Paddlers Restaurant & Bar is FREE.
Ray Nkonyeni ratepayers (Southbroom – Port Edward) day visitor fee: Adults R40, children U14 and pensioners R24.
