Izotsha celebrates sports stars

For the first time in the history of the school, three boys in the senior section scored the same points.

Izotsha Primary School’s Grade R, the Intermediate and Senior phases held their inter-house athletics events.
A cold, icy, windy day made the field events more challenging. Thankfully weather conditions were perfect for both athletics events held last Friday.

Jaguar cheered endlessly and won the ‘Spirit Trophy’ for all their enthusiasm.
For the first time in the history of the school, three boys in the senior section scored the same points.
Senior Victor Ludorum was shared among Khanya Ntleko, Matthew Evans and Brad Apostolides; Senior Victrix Ludorum was awarded to Ella Bunge, Junior Victor Ludorum went to Ndumiso Mwelase and Junior Victrix Ludorum went to Skyla Nadauld.

Much fun was had at the Grade R sports day, held earlier on Friday.
Thanks to Rewaldi Hess who accompanied some Grade 6 learners to a Trashion Show hosted by the Southcoast Mall. Learners designed fabulous outfits with their trash.

The Speech and Drama Festival runs from Monday this week. The school is grateful to Barbie Meyer who is adjudicating the entries.
