Kem Chanlall’s music extravaganza aims to uplift

The entertainment starts at 18:00. For more info, contact Renisha Bridglall on 069 8953063.

Kem Chanlall may be well-known as an international music artist, but what all may not realise is just how close to his heart caring for those less fortunate is. With that in mind, Kem has initiated a joint venture with non-profit organisation Poor People’s Foundation, which uses local talent to sustain the poor.

Funds from his upcoming Kem Chanlall Music Extravaganza at the Andhra Sabha hall in Marburg this Saturday, August 19 will go to the PPF to be used to uplift the local community.

In addition, local talent will be used in the show. Kem’s aim is to reach out to the Port Shepstone community regarding the variety show.
“My vision is to promote local talent to raise funds for charity. The money raised from the show is to help the needy in Port Shepstone. Our goal is to sustain the poor by using local talent,” he said.

The same thing is being done for every other event he stages.

The show will include members from the Port Shepstone community, mainly Sheppie Nagara and KC Dance Academy.

Main bands are Kem Chanlall Showband and Sheppie Nagara.
