Tweni model sets sights on New York

She recently entered Miss KZN 2023 which works with the Rolemodels Foundation to help underprivileged communities.

Tamaryn Price (21) of Umtentweni is making waves in the modelling world.
She has been a finalist in a few pageants, including Miss Grand South Africa last year.

Tamaryn recently entered Miss KZN 2023 which works with the Rolemodels Foundation to help underprivileged communities and children with school supplies.

At a gala event held at the Blue Marlin Hotel in Scottburgh recently, she was crowned first princess at Miss KZN 2023.

She also entered the Talent Africa regional competition for performing arts and participated in five different modalities of their modelling section and achieved gold in four of them and high gold in one category.

That qualified her for regional colours and to participate in the national competition at the end of October.
If she obtains gold there, she will be able to go to New York next year, to take part in the international championships.

She attended Suid-Natal Laerskool and Suid-Natal Hoerskool.

After she completed high school, she began working at Bates Isuzu in Shelly Beach, where she has been climbing the ladder in the last three years. She worked as an apprentice mechanic for most of that time, but has recently been transferred and is now working as a warranty clerk.
