Hlanganani celebrates Youth Day

The educators entertained the learners with a dance and the school choir sang.

Hlanganani Preparatory School celebrated Youth Day last Thursday.

This year marks 47 years since the 1976 student uprising. At a special assembly learners performed different items, such as praise poetry, dance and a play as part of the day’s programme. The educators entertained the learners with a dance and the school choir sang.

“Youth Day is not just a holiday but something to always remember and respect” said Nomnotho Zulu, event programme director.

The event was graced by the presence of Mfenzi Mahlaka and Slindile Zulu who made this day fun, sharing the word of God with the learners. Thanks to Mahlaka and Zulu for giving up their time.

The assembly ended with the national anthem.
All assessments have been completed and everyone is looking forward to the holiday.
