Careers Expo at PS Islamic School

Neighbouring schools are thanked for the attendance.

Grade 12 learners from neighbouring schools converged at Port Shepstone Islamic School to attend the Careers Expo last Saturday.

The purpose of the expo was to assist learners of the neighbouring community to interact with working professionals and institutes, thereby empowering them with adequate information and guidance in choosing and selecting their career path.

Representatives from UKZN, DUT, Boston, Regent Business School, UFS, Eduvos, eSayidi TVET, Cedara College and Saps were among those in attendance.

The representatives from the Central Applications Office (CAO) and bursars like the South African Zakaat Fund were also in attendance.

Presentations in the medical, humanities, engineering and commercial fields were conducted.
Thanks were extended to the presenters who very eloquently shed light on their field of expertise viz pharmacy, dentistry, optometry, medical doctor, education, law and law enforcement entrepreneurship chartered accounting, electrical and software engineering, town planning, sports science and prosthetics.
