One dead in Izotsha P200 collision
It was the second reported accident on South Coast roads today.
A motor vehicle accident involving a truck and a bakkie on the P200 near Sweetdale farm in Izotsha earlier today resulted in one death and several injuries.
KwaZulu Private Ambulance Service responded to the incident. “When emergency services arrived, they found that a truck and car had been involved in a head-on collision,” said spokesman Craig Botha.
Paramedics quickly assessed the scene and found that five patients had sustained injuries. “The patients were treated on scene before being transported to hospital for further treatment. One occupant sustained fatal injuries and succumbed to them before emergency services arrived.”
