Park Rynie seniors gives back

Many local clubs and organisations have chosen to donate to Khanya Hospice this year.

The Park Rynie Senior Citizens Club unanimously decided that their beneficiary for 2023 is hospice.

An amount of R3250 was handed over to hospice last week and was warmly welcomed by CEO of Khanya Hospice, Neil McDonald.
The club has been in existence for many years and just like hospice, does a great deal for the local community – particularly the elderly.

“It’s difficult for people to go out and meet likeminded people,” explained club chairman, Gal Moodley. “And one has to be careful these days.”
“We take the seniors out on excursions, play indoor table games, do sewing, have books to read, and a nice meal to round our meetings off.”

The seniors were thanked for their generosity.
