Marburg Primary’s Nhlanhlenhle encourages reading

She emphasised that we also learn about local and international news.

Nhlanhlenhle Zonqoba Nxumalo from Marburg Primary School says reading is one of the best hobbies that makes us witty and wiser.

Unfortunately, many learners in primary and secondary schools cannot read. Yet, reading different kinds of books, lead learners to know people from different regions around the world, different cultures, traditions and expands our knowledge.

She also emphasised that we also learn about local and international news. There are many types of books available for learners such as science and engineering, fiction, cultural and books related to historical events and wars, etc.

In addition, there are many magazines and novels that people can read anytime and anywhere. Reading can therefore direct and build one’s future.
