Man kills girlfriend at Mkholombe
He strangled his girlfriend with her jeans and left her body in a stream.
A 36-year-old man has been arrested for killing his girlfriend in Mkholombe, Bhobhoyi. Police spokesperson Captain Petros Mpinge said the boyfriend took his girlfriend into the bushes in Mkholombe and killed her.
“A case of murder has been opened for investigation after a man allegedly strangled his 30-year-old girlfriend with her jeans and left her body in a stream near ZamaZama in Mkholombe on Saturday, January 28.
Police arrested the suspect shortly thereafter. He appeared in the Port Shepstone Magistrate’s Court on Monday this week and the case was postponed for further investigation.
He remains in police custody.
