Hibiscus Primary School recently held its Health Promotion Launch. The school was chosen to be a health promoting school in 2018.
In 2019, the school was appraised by the department of health. A health promoting school is a site where everyone is constantly strengthening the capacity of the site as a healthy setting for living, learning and working.
Learning sites are ideal settings to promote the health of learners, educators, parents and the communities.
The school was assessed by the department of health and achieved a score of 98%.
The school aims to continue with its promotion towards healthy living for all staff, learners and the community at large.
