It’s the sixth month of the year, so much has happened leading up to this day/date. This year has been so full of action/happenings/upsets/challenges. Wouldn’t it be great if the next half of the year was dedicated to fixing all that went wrong in the first half? Everywhere? Inside and outside.
Cheryl Dell, retired principal of Pennington Pre-primary who has for many years lived in Sezela and recently in Pennington has died. I know the community will join me in sending heartfelt condolences to her family and friends.
Condolences also go to family and friends of Penny Holborn who died recently. Penny will be remembered for her table at the Pennington Village Market where she sold books. The marketeers will certainly miss her.
I believe that we are now dealing with an aphelion phenomenon which means cold. According to Google: The aphelion phenomenon only lasts a very short time and for 2022 this aphelion will occur on July 4, 2022 at 14:10 Western Indonesian Time (WIB).
The distance between the earth and the sun is 152,098,455 kilometres. July 4 will be colder than it is right now? I am beginning to believe that we will have to get in more winter clothing than we have ever had before.
