Three boys from Southcity Christian Schools have received recognition for their sporting achievements. Onele Vuso and Sibamba Madikizela are part of the U18 KZN Invitational rugby team going on tour to Reitz.
John Greyson is a non-travelling reserve for the U14 KZN Coastal hockey team. The school is extremely proud of these three boys.
In other news, learners have had a busy time of it of late, with a lot of sporting action on the go in general.
The school played hockey, netball and rugby against Kokstad and King Edward last Saturday. Well done to all who played and gave of their best.
Results:
Hockey against Kokstad: U11 girls lost 2-0; U13 girls lost 2-0; U13 boys won 1-0.
Rugby against King Edward: 1sts won 12-7; U16 lost 29-0; U14 lost 35-5.
Hockey girls against King Edward: 1sts lost 3-0; U16/U14 lost 2-0.Netball against King Edward: 1sts lost 17-12; U16 won 6-5.
