Creston’s netball teams show passion on and off field

There has been excellent effort shown all round.

Creston College’s u16 and first netball teams travelled to Kokstad to play against St. Patrick’s. The u16s won 12 – 3 and the first team lost marginally 19 – 14.

The girls played exceptionally well and showed their passion and love of netball on and off the field.

The Pre-Primary and Junior Primary children enjoyed watching an anti-bullying show last Tuesday.

These learners represented Ugu District at the KZN boys’ hockey trials at 3 Schools Astro Trust yesterday (11th) – u12 boys – Daniel Davies, Ronan Rogers, Alexander Muzenda, Aubrey Mkhize, Mihlali Hlomza, Thomas Delport and Luzuko Pangwa; u13 boys – Likhona Zoko.

The KZN girls’ hockey trials is being held at 3 Schools Astro Trust today (12th). Learners representing Ugu District are – u12 girls – Lily Currie, Rachael Kendall, Zaiah Dennis; u13 girls – Georgie Nevett, Sichumile Mgoduka, Erin Gutzeit and Awonke Kubheka.

The boys representing SKZN rugby at the KZN rugby trials from May 19 to 21 at Woodburn are – u12 – Ronan Rogers and Aubrey Mkhize; u13 – Domenick Curnow and Reece Walden.

Girls representing Ugu at KZN netball trials this Friday (13th) at St Mary’s are – u12 – Yuliya Gounden; u13 – Awonke Kubheka, Sichumile Mgoduka and Seosha Moodley; u14 – Owami Cele.
