Help clear snares in Tweni

Last week, a great Dane puppy was caught in a snare in the same area. Luckily, the dog was rescued by the group.

The South Coast Anti-Snaring Group will be covering a bush/forest area in Umtentweni that is experiencing a big problems with snares this Saturday (May 7).

Everyone is urged to meet at Royston Hall in Umtentweni at 10:00.

What should you bring?

Backpack with snacks and refreshments, knife, side cutters or pliers.

Long pants and boots as there are generally thorns.

The team will have a first aid bag on hand.

There will be a bring and braai after the patrol at the Tweni Whale Deck.
