Hlanganani volleyball stars bring trophy home

The boys team also tried their best, which secured Hlanganani in second place within the whole tournament.

Sports are an integral part of education and a child’s development. As the saying goes, “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.”

Hlanganani Preparatory learners attended a thrilling volleyball tournament at the Marburg Sports Complex over the weekend.

The U12 and U14 girls showed great teamwork and dedication, winning in both their divisions.

The boys team also tried their best, which secured Hlanganani in second place within the whole tournament.

Well done to all learners and committed coaches for bringing the trophies home.

Meanwhile, prefects of Hlanganani left in high spirits for a three day prefect camp last Wednesday.

During this camp, prefects were required to work as teams to complete challenging tasks.

Tasks are designed to help prefects discover the power of their own potential, the importance of working together, trusting one another and proper planning.

The trip also assisted prefects in improving their already fantastic leadership skills.
