Join anti-snare group on farm patrol

Not only could you help save the coast's wildlife, but you could make some new friends along the way.

The South Coast Anti-Snaring group, which is going the extra mile to assist in saving the coast’s wildlife, will be meeting this Sunday, March 13 at 10:00. Headed by Craig Saunders and his girlfriend Roxanne Smith, this weekend’s snare patrol will be take place at Lindsay’s Egg Farm, inland from Umtentweni.

The group welcomes all new extra eyes and ears to the team. Craig said the patrol group will be covering the bushy area alongside the farm.

What should you bring? A backpack with snacks and refreshments. Knife, side cutters or pliers. Long pants and boots should be worn, as there are generally thorns.

There will be a first aid bag on hand.

Everyone is welcome to join the bring and braai after the patrol at the Whale Deck in Umtentweni. For more information contact Craig on 072 2587907.
