Merlewood Primary athletes sprint to regionals

Cassidy Bouverie placed first in the 100m and 80m U10 division.

Snenkosi Mbutho came first in the 80m U10 division.

Merlewood Primary congratulates its learners on excelling in the recent Ugu District Athletics selections.

Siphesihle Skhosana placed third in the 400m U15 division. Snenkosi and Cassidy now progress to the regional selections that will be held in Petermaritzburg.

Learners recently visited the Phelophela health train where they had dental and eye screening done.

The school held a successful Valentine’s Day fundraiser to start up its ‘reading shelf’ project. Merlewood Primary thank parents and guardians for supporting this initiative.
