PS Islamic named a top performing school

On the welfare front, learners made a collection of over 2000 cans for distribution to impoverished communities.

Port Shepstone Islamic, with its mission of providing a holistic education to its learners has been buzzing on all fronts.

On the academic side the school was honoured to receive the accolade from the Ray Nkonyeni Municipality of being a ‘Top Performing School.’

Grade 12 learners left the classroom for the outdoors as they explored the Red Desert and Mpenjati.

On the welfare front, learners made a collection of over 2000 cans for distribution to impoverished communities.

Meanwhile on the sporting side, learners were engaged in inter-class cricket while others were vying for selection for the Association of Muslim Schools swimming gala.

Learners were addressed by Ml Suhail Peerbhay and Ml Imtiaz Kathrada who boosted their spirituality and reminded them about the importance of ‘old fashioned’ values of love and respect for all.
