Southcity matriculants celebrate success

Southcity College’s class of 2021 faced the challenges of their year head on, despite the disappointments that the pandemic brought with it.

Determination and excellent application have secured exceptionally good and pleasing achievements.

Some 88% of Southcity’s matriculants achieved a bachelor’s degree pass and 100% received a result good enough to enter tertiary education. Well done!

Southcity College continues to maintain its status as one of the top academic schools on the South Coast with 35% of its subject results being either an A or a B symbol and 58% of its learners receiving at least one A symbol.

Wendy Lourens, the Headmistress of Southcity Christian College, congratulates each learner of the class of 2021, on their individual academic accomplishments.

The statistics of the Grade 12s of 2021 once again bears testimony of the expertise and dedication of the school’s wonderful teaching staff as well as the hard work and commitment of the learners. This is obviously complemented with the exceptional support received from parents and other supporting structures.

Southcity College is proud of its matriculants of 2021 and wish them the very best as they embark on their exciting and new endeavours going forward.
