Merlewood Primary Grade Rs go under the sea

Through play, learners skills are enhanced. Grade Rs now have the opportunity to learn through play in a fun, colorful and inspiring environment.

Grade R educators of Merlewood Primary have embarked on a painting project for the school’s Grade R component. The theme for this project was ‘under the sea’.

The painted games and activities have been incorporated to contribute to learners gross motor, cognitive and perceptual skills.

Through play, learners skills are enhanced. Grade Rs now have the opportunity to learn through play in a fun, colorful and inspiring environment.

Merlewood Primary School thanks its governing body and the artist Shaun Felix for ensuring that the project reached fruition.
