Life saving lessons at Merlewood Primary

Learners from Grade R to Grade 8 were spoken to about water safety and how to perform basic life saving tactics.

The National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) visited Merlewood Primary last week.

Learners from Grade R to Grade 8 were spoken to about water safety and how to perform basic life saving tactics.

Learners were encouraged to take all the relevant precautions whilst at the beach.

The school will be hosting its annual School Governing Body election on March 12 in the school hall from 2.30pm.

Eligible parents and guardians interested in being candidates are encouraged to contact the school for further information on 039 6854843.
