Two women drown off Trafalgar beach

All emergency services were at the scene.

Two women tragically drowned at Trafalgar beach yesterday (Sunday) at about 5.32pm.

NSRI Port Edward, SA Police Services, Police Search and Rescue and Medevac ambulance services attended the scene at Trafalgar Beach where two teenagers, (a girl and a boy), and two adult females got into difficulty in rip currents and were swept out to sea.

Locals managed to help save the lives of the two teenagers.

Craig Lambinon of NSRI Sea Rescue said that despite the extensive CPR efforts on both adult females they were  declared dead.
