Nine injured in two accidents on South Coast

A total of nine people escaped with injuries from two separate accidents on the South Coast yesterday (16th).

Two light delivery vehicles were involved in a collision on the R61 around the Bushy Vales area on the same day.

Eight people sustained minor to moderate injuries and were treated on the scene.

“Once stabilised, the patients were transported by various ambulance services to hospital” said Herbst.

One person sustained moderate injuries following a collision between two cars on Marine Drive in Ramsgate.

According to Netcare 911 spokesman Shawn Herbst, the patient was stabilised on the scene and then transported to hospital.
